Bought an LCP today, any ammo ideas ?

I bought a box of speer gold dot. I ordered some cor bon dpx from cabellas today as well.

Timmy, what have you had luck with ? I fired 20 rounds of cheap shit and then on the second round of speer gold dot it failed to feed. it shot the crappy reload hollow points and ball fine. didnt know how many rounds i should use to break it in.

I'd stick to ball ammo. HP ammo will only hurt the already pathetic penetration of that caliber.

As implied on HandgunsTV, that pistol is a "break contact" weapon... i.e. dump the ammo you have on the threat while getting the hell out of the situation.

I would NEVER carry one of these guns for any reason.
